Suzerain are a London 5 piece dedicated to making intense, burning music from pounding drums, fuzzy bass lines and chiming broken guitars creating a distinct yet hook laden sound. They create a brooding cinematic atmosphere with the music and the lyrics speak about living in and with a 21st century Britain.
They have spent the best part of 2013 and 2014 recording their second album with acclaimed producer and Steve Lyon (Depeche Mode, The Cure, Siouxsie Sioux) resulting in a more streamlined, precise, and unhinged record.
Their brand new EP ‘Good Day’ will be released at the end of November, building upon the sonic template laid down in recent double A-side single ‘Dark Dark’ / ‘Manhattan’, which drew inspiration from Berlin-era Bowie and gained comparisons to Nine Inch Nails.
On record or in the flesh they are a commanding presence and must be heard and seen.
